Hey guys. So, I've been working on a song for Minecraft for a while and I'm gonna be posting the video of it on my channel when Minecraft is released on November 18th, if not a little bit later. The trouble is I don't have any footage prepared for it, so I need you guys to make some for me. I'll take any videos of falling in lava or off high buildings, long pan shots of spawn city or your own house, videos of critical hitting a creeper, anything really. If you've got any footage for me, just upload the video to Youtube and post the link to it in the comments. Anyways, thanks :)

Ok, for those of you EVIL BASTARDS... who are using macs to play minecraft and don't know how to back up the 1.73 file, I may have the answer. Bare in mind, though, this may only work Snow Leopard and you have to make sure that you haven't updated to 1.8 yet. This might work on Lion but I don't have Lion so I can't test it. Here are the steps

1) Go into Finder

2) In the left column, click the button under "Desktop". This button should be what you named your computer when you first got it

3) Open the "Library" folder

4) Open the "Application support" folder

5) Copy the "minecraft" folder

6) Paste the "minecraft" folder on your desktop

Now feel free to update your client and, when you want to switch back to 1.7 either to get on the server or just to remind your self of the days when cows didn't run away when you hit them with a sword, just go through steps 1 through 4 and replace the 1.8 folder with 1.7.

Well we can't help you with that last one but if you really want to prove you're the best builder on the server then join the competition.

All you have to do is give us your username and the coordinates for the structure you'd like to enter into the competition. Taking pics of the building are optional and highly recommended.

The entries will be judged by sbrough10 and rtkermit and, by the end of the month August, the top 10 builders will be crowned and the top 2 will get a plot of land right in spawn to build whatever they want (as long as it doesn't look like sHITe).

You can enter building you would like as long as it was purely your own vision.

Now if only there were more buildings
