MINECRAFT 1.0 IS COMING OUT THIS WEEK! Can you believe it? Personally, I've been with this server since September 2010, and some people have been here longer :o.

First, let me say this. No matter what, the current main map will still be around. I've personally spent almost a year building there, it's not gonna POOF go away. However, we have an opportunity with 1.0...We could move Main world to another world (like Legacy_2.0_Map) ans make Main World fresh, or continue on the path we have with Update World and keep new chunks there. Also, we could create a more permanant Update world called like 1.0 World, which is like update world but we won't reset it (so, in theory, since update world will still be there, there would be 2 Minecraft 1.0 Maps). Vote on that below.

EVEN THOUGH this is 1.0...we're still following the normal update procedures. We won't be updating the server until bukkit is ready to go. I think this won't be an issue...most people will play single player for a while (I actually expect multiplayer attendance to DROP while ppl play single player, then shoot up when veterans come back after beating single player and being interested in the game again.) Make sure to back up your game files so you can go between versions.

LAST THING: No matter what, update world will be reset. Get your stuff out of there. THIS IS YOUR DUE WARNING! Spread the word about that.

VERDICT HANDED DOWN: Based on the evidence provided by cncr04s, we can see that many ppl opened the chest including known griefers. Sb was right in that tubblebunk opened it, and it's really hard to find specific things in the logs because they're HUGE. cncr has a script that can crawl logs a bit easier, so he was able to find more evidence more quickly. Based on that, tubblebunk can't be held guilty alone for anything other than OPENING the chest. We brought up that he's been accused before of griefing, but he came to us proactively and asked for the compromised acct to be banned. Weighing the evidence, we found him NOT GUILTY and untarded him. We gave him a stern warning tho, as this is the 2nd accusation, if there's another stealing and his name is tied to the chest suspicions are going to be raised. We told him to keep his nose clean and his head down.

Tubbellebunk (a.k.a. Premium) was banned on November the 5th under suspicion of buglary and destruction of property. The following is evidence of the theft.

Hey everyone! We've had a lot of people on the server lately, but not a lot of the people that post here on the website.

You all know that this website helps pay for the server, both in hits and encouraging DONATIONS! When there's no donations and ad revenue slows down...it comes all out of owners' pockets. HOW SAD FOR US :(

Actually, it's not THAT sad, since we enjoy playing too :) However, we always appreciate more help. We never demand donations, and they don't come TOO frequently, so more and more web traffic is critical in paying for shiz.

We need more people to help keep the website active. Post pictures, news about builds, news about minecraft in general, people to comb the logs for funny stuff, etc.

Morate seems to have been infected with the zombie virus! I'm working on a cure, but it won't be ready until after Halloween. In the meantime, avoid contact with Morate as HE IS HOSTILE. Fortunately, he's not interested in your items, just your brains...
