ANOTHER UPDATE FROM SURF: Holy Moley We're Back Up!

UPDATE FROM SURF: Yes it's down, dunno why, looking into it :D

I know that, if you have a question, it is best to ask an admin or owner who will probably know. I know that it is not one individual who is asking multiple questions that is causing the problem but the combination of multiple individuals asking one question. And I know it's not the same question every time, but there is one question that I don't think we need to ask over and over again:

Why is the server down and why is it giving me a message saying "(insert random message here)"?

There can be multiple possibilities but, please, before you ask the question, consider this.

1. If you haven't been able to access the server for 1-2 minutes, there could be a plethora of reasons that have nothing to do with the server actually being down.

2. If you got banned, you'll see message saying you were banned. If you got kicked then get the fuck back on the server and asked the people who are on rather then whining about it to an admin who isn't even on minecraft

3. Even if the server IS down, even if you can't figure out why you specifically can't get on, couldn't you at least spend a few minutes outside, getting some fresh air, maybe some exercise. I'm not saying that you're fat but maybe you're just spending so much time on this game that your brain is not processing the irritating question you are about to ask one of the ops (I'm serious, this happens to everyone)

Please, if you are someone reading this who is or was about to ask this kind of question, please take it into account. If you are an admin or owner reading this, the next time someone asks you this exact kind of question, please send them this link (https://teh3l3m3nts.com/?p=1107) and tell them to read the article posted.

I have travelled far, battling my way through rough terrain and completing many a perilous challenge. At times I did doubt that I would make it through, but I kept reminding myself that I had to inform my comrads of what I knew. Now, I have returned with news that you must all hear!
We have chosen to use BustaCapps ninja skins for the PVP battle tonight. The battle will be at 9 PM EST (eastern standard time). Admins will be in red, Members will be in blue, and I, your trusty but very suspicious camera man, will be wearing the classic gray t-shirt with the letters "Fe" written on it.

we need admins and owners to help test out the new "capture the flag" game i have set up on my sky build. keep in mind that its still under construction and some things will change as i continue to build.

Hey everyone Kermit again so I felt that I would be better to change 
the date of the pvp battle to June 27th at 8:30 eastern time. I am 
currently in the middle of finals and many of the owners are busy, so I 
thought it would be in our best interest to move  the date. By the end 
of this week hopefully by the 17th or 18th we will have an area 
selected and then I will allow people to start building there 
respective bases. We are still trying to think of a way to distinguish 
each other from one another( ideas needed) But rules are basically set 
no spawning items. Yet TNT is in play and any type of trap you can 
think of. I have decided instead of straight killing each other each 
team will have some sort of iteam to defend along with other minor 
objectives. As of now I think it will about 12v12 , of course this 
number will grow. Yet I still need help with everything so anyone 
willing to help would be awesome.

I have an awesomely immature idea for teams/skins, i'll work on it in the morning, 
and we can also use the /nick function to change to names indicating status/team
