Yo, surf here. Potential brief downtime today...I'm having some work done on my house. Getting a new 70 amp sub-panel put in for the server room! Good news is vacuuming won't trip the breaker in the server closet anymore; bad news is they may have to shut the power down today for some time. I have a UPS which will keep it alive for 30-45 minutes, but it's possible we may go down for a bit.

BTW...I'm obsessed with Lego Marvel Super Heroes on the 360, you all need to play it.

We were hacked with a minecraft login exploit today. We were totally unaware of the exploit and Personally am dissapointed that this information was not spread around so people could fix it.
We have fixed the greifing and updated the server. Whats more sad is that I would have updated soon any ways and this wouldn't have happened.

I post this in case any one is running a server that reads this, because I sure didn't know about it.

They Were able to confuse the server into thinking they were a different user, in this case, surf.

Hello everyone!

As some of you guys may know, I'm building a huge factory near the museum in spawn. But that isn't the end of the project. I also made a checklist for farms to be built/finished

Here are the farms:

- The iron trench(massive iron farm): I'm running out of time to finish it and it took a lot of time to build so far. So I'm asking someone of you with good redstone knowledge to finish the machine. All materials are already gathered so the only thing that has to be done is finish the sucker. Here is the tutorial on the machine:Video

- Blaze farm: I still have to make time for this machine. this one doesn't require a lot of redstone knowledge. I found an efficient but simple farm. Tutorial: Video

- Gold farm: No design found. Feel free to come up with your own designs.

All materials can be supplied or taken care of by yourself.

When the factory at spawn is finished, it will be public and free to use. The only thing I ask is: Keep it supplied with all the resources you used.

Well...I just put 4 more GB of RAM in the server, upping the amount the java process gets from 3400M -> 7000M.

Surf here...seems we're down. I can see the server and ping it, so it's online, but it's STUCK. I believe the beta bukkit is causing some out of control resource usage, meaning interrupts aren't getting to it. I'll have to actually reboot the box when I get home at like 5PM PST...I'll keep hammering it until then.

We may have to schedule a periodic reboot to keep system resources under control, we'll look into it, sorry all! This is life on beta bukkit :/
